Marriage isn't Hard... Sometimes.

Image
I've learned a lot of things while being married. (Look at us on our honeymoon, so cute) I've learned that two people use SO MANY DISHES, that I love hugs, and that sleeping is a lot better when you each have your own blanket. I've also learned that everyone tells you marriage is hard. I'm not going to tell you that it's hard... but I'm also not going to tell you that it isn't. Marriage is how you choose to make it. Lucky for me, Tanner happens to be really good at making it easy. (Tanner's really good at a lot of things.) It's easy because he forgives and forgets. Immediately. Always. No matter what. It's easy because on hard days he still thinks life is good and our marriage is great. It's easy because he looks for blessings instead of dwelling on disappointments. Went on a cruise to Catalina Island and Ensenada Mexico. Sent off our brother on his mission to Philidephia. Saw another brother get baptized. Celebrated our one year anniversary. Went to Moab. I worked four different jobs. I fell in love with reading all over again. I realized that writing is a great way to figure things out. I worried a lot (as always). I questioned my testimony but always found it again. I developed an even bigger crush on Tanner. I met a

First, Tanner and I decided to open our presents to each other by ourselves before going down to Lehi. We woke up on Wednesday morning and had TK Christmas and it was SO FUN! I loved being able to enjoy the gifts from each other without all of the other distractions of Christmas morning. Tanner got me new Vans that I'd been wanting, a cardigan, shirt, scarf, a cute purse, and a calligraphy pen. HE IS THE BEST. After opening presents we ate some breakfast and played some racquetball. I am a little competitive (a little haha), but we had a lot of fun. That night after work we celebrated with Olive Garden and TK Christmas was complete! We hiked to a yurt as a family. As Sadie put it... "It was kind of fun but also not fun" hahahaha. The hike in was fun and then we played ga
